Giving Back

Summer Search Alumni are leaders in their families, communities, and within Summer Search. That leadership brings enormous and exciting challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities. You are all inspirational role models and active forces for change, not just because of your personal achievements and successes, but also for the way you show gratitude and reach out to help others.

Just as you have all found your own paths to professional and personal success, there are many different ways you can give back. These will also change over time, depending on your resources. You might get involved in community service as a volunteer, pursue a career in public service or advocacy, or give money to causes you care about - there are a million ways you can make a difference.

One place where your altruism is really needed is within Summer Search itself. Your giving, in terms of time, ambassadorship, and financial support, is vital to sustain Summer Search's growth and impact. The next generation of sophomores is just like you were: they have amazing potential but limited opportunities. The difference is that now you have the resources to reach out and help them. They are relying on your leadership to make Summer Search the best it can possibly be.
