Since the majority of Summer Search alumni face graduation from college with isolation, the Career Advisory Network (CAN) was established as a long-term solution to filling an emotional and practical gap. Professionals from the community agree to conduct up to three informational interview with pre-screened Summer Search alumni annually. Alumni may be in an exploratory or advanced state of their professional process.

By tapping into the CAN network of volunteers, alumni will:

1. Receive beneficial guidance, support and exposure to their fields of interest.
2. Learn the "soft skills" necessary to navigate the job search and ultimately find a satisfying career.
